The Collaborative Scientific Research Programme (CSRP) by CEFIPRA aims to support high-quality academic collaborations between India and France in fundamental and applied sciences. The focus areas include Health and Marine Sciences. In Health, the sub-areas cover One Health & Climate Change, early pathogen detection, new vaccines, AI for diagnostics, metabolic and cardiovascular diseases, and novel therapeutics for emerging diseases. Marine Sciences encompasses underwater systems, geosciences, ocean-climate nexus, and marine biology & pollution.
Eligibility requires principal and joint collaborators to hold permanent positions in Indian or French universities or R&D institutions and adhere to national grant criteria. A Researcher ID is mandatory. The funding, capped at €220,000 per project, supports manpower, recurring expenses, international travel, and equipment (for Indian collaborators only). Proposals must be submitted via the CEFIPRA online.
