Regional Young Investigators’ Meetings Grants 2025– 2026

IndiaBioscience is inviting applications for the Regional Young Investigators’ Meeting Grants (RYIM Grants) for 2025–2026, aimed at supporting Young Investigator (YI)-led initiatives that align with the ethos of national Young Investigator Meetings (YIMs). These grants encourage the strengthening of local scientific communities and the promotion of collaborative leadership among YIs. Each RYIM team must include one YIM alumnus as the lead organiser, who has previously attended a national YIM, and 2–4 co-organisers from diverse research institutes, organisations, or universities in the region. The team is encouraged to reflect diversity in scientific disciplines, demographics, and institutional types. RYIMs are expected to be in-person, 2–3 day events hosted at local institutes or universities, engaging researchers from the broader region. The regions can be defined broadly (North, South, East, West, Central, or North-East India), or according to other locally meaningful definitions. Selected RYIMs will receive funding of up to INR 1.5 lakh from IndiaBioscience.
