START-UP GRANT FOR INDUCTION INTO BIOMEDICAL & HEALTH RESEARCH

"The Department of Health Research (DHR), under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), invites online research proposals for the "Start-Up Grant for Induction into Biomedical & Health Research" for the year 2024-25. The goal of this initiative is to create trained human resources for advanced research in medicine and health. This initiative, part of the Human Resource Development (HRD) Scheme, aims to provide research opportunities for medical and health research personnel, particularly those in the emerging fields of medical, clinical, and health sciences. The program is open to regular faculty members and biomedical researchers who have completed their Ph.D. in biomedical/health sciences within the last five years."

NSTMIS Call for proposal 2024-25

"The National Science and Technology Management Information System (NSTMIS) is the nodal agency responsible for assessment and benchmarking of S&T potential of the country leading to evidence-based policy planning for the S&T sector. The programme sponsors research projects/studies to potential investigators/organizations across the country in the broad areas of S&T Investment, S&T infrastructure, S&T output, S&T databases, S&T manpower, R&D productivity/efficiency etc. The thrust areas to be addressed for submission of research proposals under the present Call for Proposals. However, proposals can also be submitted in other interrelated S&T areas for consideration. The preference will be given to project proposals focusing on mapping STI at regional/ sectoral/ national level, development of framework/ advanced tools for wider usage of STI data. Proposals should adhere to global standards in terms of methodology, approaches, best practices, etc."
