These multi-institutional, hub-and-spoke model centers will collect and store diverse imaging datasets of healthy and diseased states, supported by metadata such as demographics, clinical tests, treatments, and outcomes, and will make data accessible to the research community through secure, user-friendly platforms in compliance with BIOTECH-PRIDE and IBDC guidelines. Proposals must include realistic research goals, multidisciplinary teams (radiologists, pathologists, data scientists, etc.), detailed methodologies, and data sharing and sustainability plans. Eligible applicants include Indian researchers from DSIR-recognized institutions and registered NGOs/private institutions with appropriate credentials. Projects may receive up to INR 15 Cr. over five years, with non-recurring costs not exceeding 30%, and preference will be given to proposals with existing datasets and open-source tool usage.
