The Indo-Australian Biotechnology Fund (IABF), a strategic partnership between the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) in India and the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science (DIIS) in Australia, aims to foster collaborative, high-impact research in the medical biotechnology domain. This call for proposals seeks to support research and innovation projects addressing biomanufacturing, biotechnology for enhanced agricultural productivity, climate resilience, RNA vaccines, and biotherapeutics. Eligible applicants include academic institutions, research organizations, and both public and private entities from India and Australia. The proposed projects must be submitted as joint applications from both countries, with a Multi-Principal Investigator (PI) model, and align with the outlined research priorities. Funding is available for a 3-year duration, with DBT providing support for the Indian side and DIIS funding the Australian component.
